Use Jargon Wisely Copy

Jargon is the broad term that covers the technical terms, acronyms, and the specialized vocabulary of business and industry. When both the reader and the writer speak the same language, things can get done. But when only one party is in the know, confusion reigns.

Here are some fine sentences—if you’re in the know:

I’ll give you my opinion as soon as I get the PSI report.

We absolutely must report the UHDDS data elements correctly.  The DRG assignment depends on it!
